My Unsent Letters is built to stay private, quiet, and offline-first. The app stores letters on your device, uses local notifications only when you ask for reminders, and does not require an account.
You may write a title, body, category, mood, reminder date, and theme preference for each letter. This information is stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
The app may also store lightweight settings such as onboarding status, premium unlock state, and theme selection.
The app is designed around on-device storage only. There is no backend server, no account system, and no cloud profile managed by us for core functionality.
If you choose to schedule a future reminder, the app may ask for notification permission. Local notifications are used only to remind you that a letter is ready to re-read.
You can edit or delete letters at any time. You can also change themes, disable reminder permissions, or delete the app to remove local data from your device.
Because the app does not use accounts or a server-side profile for core features, there is no online inbox to manage and no login to recover.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change.
If you have questions about this policy, contact the app publisher through the app listing or developer support page.
