Panic Meter is built to feel personal and private. The app is designed to analyze short voice or text input locally on your device to generate a simple 0–10 panic score and (for Pro) optional descriptive context.
Panic Meter allows you to enter text manually or record short voice input. If you use voice input, iOS speech recognition may be used to convert speech to text on your device so the app can generate an output score.
Panic Meter does not collect:
The app is designed to analyze your input locally on your device to generate: a panic score (0–10) and, for Pro users, optional descriptive context such as mood labels or short notes.
We do not operate servers that receive your entries for analysis. Your text and speech-derived text are not transmitted to us as part of normal app use.
You can manage permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
If you purchase a Pro subscription, billing is processed by Apple. We do not receive your credit card details or payment information. Apple may provide us with non-identifying subscription status information (for example, whether Pro is active) so the app can unlock features.

Panic Meter is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require accounts and does not request personal identifiers.
