My Red Flags is designed to keep your notes private and under your control. The app stores your entries locally by default and gives you tools like export and app lock so you can decide how your data is handled.

1) Information you provide

My Red Flags lets you create notes and categorize moments that matter to you. The app may also store settings you choose, such as mood theme, app lock preference, and whether the welcome screen appears at startup.

If you use export or backup features, the app processes your own notes to generate the file or backup you requested.

Important: My Red Flags is a record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose people, provide therapy, or replace professional advice.

2) Information we do not collect

My Red Flags does not require or intentionally collect:

  • Account sign-in details
  • Contact lists
  • Precise location data
  • Advertising identifiers for ads
  • Personal profile data such as name or email for core use

3) How storage works

The app is built to store your notebook locally on your device by default. App Lock can protect access to the app itself, while export and backup tools are only used when you start those actions.

If you delete the app, locally stored data on that device is removed as part of the normal app removal process, subject to iOS behavior.

4) Permissions

  • Face ID / device authentication: used only if you turn on App Lock.
  • Files / share sheet access: may be used when you export or save your own notes.

You can manage permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

5) Purchases

My Red Flags offers a lifetime unlock for premium features. Billing is handled by Apple, and we do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with non-identifying purchase status information so the app can unlock premium features.

  • You can manage or cancel purchases in your Apple account subscriptions and purchases settings.
  • Use Restore Purchase in the app if premium access does not appear after reinstalling.
  • Developer testing overrides may be available in development builds.

6) Terms of Use

7) Your choices

  • Use the app privately: keep entries on your device and turn on App Lock if you want extra protection.
  • Export your notes: create a copy of your own data when you want it.
  • Delete your data: remove entries and categories from the device through the app.
  • Manage purchase status: restore purchases from Settings or your Apple account.

8) Children’s privacy

My Red Flags is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not require accounts and does not ask for personal identifiers as part of its core experience.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version posted here.
